I have just had this same problem and got rid of it using a weak solution of mild detergent and water and an old, softtoothbrush. Make sure that you don't brush too hard as you don't want to leave any scratches in the window. I used the kind of detergent that you handwash your dishes in. It took 2 goes to remove about 95% of the haze, leaving about 24hrs between goes.
