700 sq feet converted to cubic feet is 58.333 (double check that?)
convert that to gallons and you get-
(this I know is true.)
436.5 gallons, rounded up. I was told that a 50 lb. bag of sand would cover 6 square feet 1 inch deep. So, divide 700/6 and you get 117. It would take 117 50 lb. bags of sand or 5,850 lbs.
4.4 bags for each 1-foot deep. 2.2 bags for each 6-inches deep. Each 5-ft3 bag will cover the area to 2.72 inches deep.
You will need 1500 cubic feet.
An area 10 foot x 10 foot is 100 square feet. 100 cubic feet of sand would cover it with a one foot deep layer of sand. If the sand needs to be 6 inches deep, then 50 cubic feet are be needed, or 25 cubic feet if the sand is to be 3 inches thick.
.15
2.37 cubic yards of stone for every 3 inches deep it needs to be
80lb bags of what. you need to know the density of material working with.
Your patio is (8x8)/6in = 10.66 cubic foot. The sand comes in 50 lb bags that cover 0.5 cubic foot so you will need 21.33 bags (round up to 22 or down to 21)
7,646.4 gallons are needed.
If it is then find out where to get it and then get it!
ABOUT 43 bags. Dry sand weighs ABOUT 100 lbs per cubic foot- and you need 21.3 cubic feet.
It depends on how deep it is. If it is 6 inches deep, you will need 77 yards.
Well, I depends on how deep you want the layer of gravel to be. But, if you just want a enough gavel to cover the space I would say about 15 to 20 bags of it. Trust me, I have done the exact same thing you are about to do. (you can get the gravel bags from Lowe's for super cheap)
