The answer is yes. In Spanish "to play" is "Jugar". And conjugating the word doesn't change it into a noun or an adjective, nor does changing it to past or future tense. Just like in English; unless you were to say "Playful", which would be a different word altogether. I assume we have similar if not the same rules with English.
