There's a couple. The first one that comes to mind is Walter Wirth Lake, also known as ''Cascade''. It's right behind the Walmart on Turner Road in Salem. After fishing there, I'll often head over to Walling Pond, which is off of Pringle Road in Salem, across from ProPowder, the powder coating company. Both places are stocked regularly with Rainbow Trout. It's also not rare to hook onto a big Catfish or a little Bluegill. I cut up regular raw shrimp for bait and it does very well. Make sure it is fresh. The fish just can't resist it. Try it and you are guaranteed to catch a fish. Theres my secret. Happy fishing!

An Oregon fishing license is required for those age 14 years or older. Licenses, tags and permits can be obtained at license agents throughout the state of Oregon. All persons 14 years or older must have in possession a valid Oregon angling license to take any fish for personal use.
Yes, you typically need a fishing license to fish in a neighborhood pond, as fishing regulations vary by location and may require a license for fishing in any body of water, including ponds. It is important to check with local authorities or the Department of Fish and Wildlife to determine the specific requirements for fishing in your area.
FACTS: Salem is the capitol of Oregon. It is located in Marion county. In 2008, the population was just over 150,000, making it the 150th largest city in America. The population is 77% white, 14.6% hispanic, and less than 2% black (fairly consistent with the rest of Oregon). It has a fairly moderate temperature. It rarely gets into the 90s in the summer time and only occasionally snows in the winter. The Willamette river flows through Salem, separating Salem and West Salem (more surburban area). Salem hospital is the biggest private employer, followed by Willamette University, which is consistently rated as one of the top 100 liberal arts colleges in the country. Salem is also home to the all the government headquarters in Oregon. Oregon's maximum security prisons are also in Salem as is a large state mental hospital where One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest was filmed.MY OPINION: The cost of living in Salem is pretty decent, but the wages in Salem are also below average for Oregon. There are nice areas and bad areas of Salem, just like any other city. The downtown area is very clean and family friendly. Salem doesn't have much of a night life but there are lots of community events, especially in the Summer.Salem is undergoing a lot of clean up and rebuilding because the city is pretty old. Shopping in Salem is still pretty limited if you're looking for really upscale stores but there are lots of Fred Meyer stores and Targets and Wal Marts and there malls that have larger chain stores as well. There are several movie theaters that are all pretty nice.Overall, I'd say if you have the money you should live in Portland. But for people who aren't the richest but don't want to live in the middle of nowhere, Salem is a nice city with just about everything you could want or need.
Three states have a capital city with 5 letters, the least of any: Dover, Delaware Boise, Idaho Salem, Oregon
Yes. Your best bet for these types of jobs are sources like Craigslist, Creative Loafing, and even the local newspaper. Good luck!
If there will be, most likely in Seattle, Olympia, Salem, etc.I heard that the auditions are going to be in LA, New York City, and Chicago. I'm sorry.
According to the "Oklahoma Fishing Guide 2010," License Exemptions include private ponds if you own, rent or lease the land. and ... "Any person who fishes with pole and line, trotline or trow line in streams, natural ponds and mine pits in or forming the boundary of the county in which he is a bona fide resident, when using any bait other than commercial or artificial bait, blood, stink bait, cut fish and shrimp." (pg 5) Other exemptions are included but this one is the one that awed me.
Are there any drawbacks to Oregon industries
