What are the adaptations of the catfish?

Rainbows have been known to share the same water with Bass, Pike, Musky, and Salmon to name a few. They can also reproduce in both warm and cold water temperatures. Rainbows can live in lakes, rivers, irrigation streams, and can transition to salt water environments if needed. Those Rainbows are known as "sea run Rainbow trout". Their body and tail shape are adapted to slow and fast moving water. Some species of Rainbow trout can change their color to adapt to different climates, underwater environments, water depths, and rock structure. Another important adaptation they have is can they change their mouth shape during reproductive periods and climate changes. The "hook jaw" they acquire allows them to fight rivals when battling for the chance to fertilize eggs. During ice season when catching bugs on the surface is gone, they can change their mouth shape to make it easier to catch smaller fish or crustaceans.
