it will kill them mostly, but sawn off shotguns have a wider spread and less velocity then long barreled shotguns and need to be taxed if the barrel is under 18 inches
A shotgun is a shotgun, regardless of what you do to it (except should its length go below certain limits, it will be reclassified as a pistol or handgun in some jurisdictions). If you saw some of it off, then it becomes a "sawn-off shotgun", pending the above restriction on length.

Spear, sword, sawn off shotgun, snookerball in a sock...
Nothing assuming that the barrel is at least 18 inches at you haven't committed a crime with it.
Oh, dude, they made the sawed-off shotgun to have a more compact and concealable weapon for close-range combat. Like, imagine trying to lug around a big ol' shotgun in a tight space, right? So, they just chopped it down to make it more manageable. Easy peasy.

Sawn formwork is formwork that for concrete structure that needs to have plaster and paint finish.
Rift sawn wood is cut at a different angle than plain sawn wood, resulting in a more stable and straight grain pattern. This makes rift sawn wood less prone to warping and shrinking. In contrast, plain sawn wood has a more varied grain pattern and is more likely to expand and contract with changes in humidity. The differences in grain pattern between rift sawn and plain sawn wood can impact the overall appearance and quality of the final product, with rift sawn wood often being preferred for its more uniform and refined look.
