The Rem Choke was first marketed on the Remington 11-87 simi-automatic shotgun. This firearm was introduced in 1987, thus 11-87. The Rem choke is a metal threaded tube about 2 inches long threaded on the outside. The muzzle of the barrel is threaded on the inside. The original Remington 1100 simi-auto had a built in choke and when you purchased it you could only get one choke, full, modified, improved were the most common. With the 11-87, you buy only one gun with one barrel and with a Rem Choke of your choice. If your 11-87 came with a ' Full' Rem Choke for ducks and geese and you want to shoot quail, all you need is to purchase a Rem Choke in Improved Cylinder. Screw out one, screw in another. Neat, huh!
Rem-Choke
the barrel has to be bored out and threaded inside, I've had it done on my 12 ga but not 100% sure if they have those choke styles for a 410 caliber , perhaps a choke mounted on the outside would be better
100-200 USD or so
yes i have a Remington 870 choke in my Charles daly
A modified Rem choke is a type of shotgun choke designed to constrict the shot pattern for improved accuracy at medium ranges. It typically provides a tighter shot spread than a standard choke, making it suitable for various shooting applications, including hunting and target shooting. The "modified" designation indicates that it offers a balance between open and full chokes, allowing for versatility in different shooting scenarios.
The first year that the Rem Choke or screw in choke on Remington shotguns was 1986. It made the already famous Remington 870 even more popular.
It can, but you will probably get better accuracy with improved cylinder bore or cylinder bore using slugs. It depends on the gun.
The Spartan is manufactured for Remington in russia. I believe the company that makes them is Baikal. You'll probably have to order the choke tubes. Standard Rem-chokes won't work. Cabela's sells the choke tubes for the Remington Spartan Side-by-Side, also made by Baikal in Russia.
REM rebound involves the tendency for REM sleep to increase following REM sleep deprivation.
Use the Hevi-Shot choke tube for geese for turkeys. Made by Hevi-Shot for Rem. or a PatternMaster. i use an undertaker extra full. super tight patern out 30-40+ yards and fairly cheap. i have also used a Remington extra full which shot well.
The plural form of rem is rem.Ex: I have a lifetime dose of 3 rem.
The short answer is no. I have a Remington Model 1100 Circa ~1963 with a 30" barrel and integral Full choke. This barrel does not accept any additional chokes. You could procure a newer barrel relatively cheaply (roughly $200 new or much less used at a gun show) that will accept screw-in type chokes. Another alternative would be to install an after market screw-in choke system. Not all barrels are candidates, but many are. One such after market installer is "www.choketube.com".
