Youve got the wrong gun If u want to shoot slugs get a air rifle or a slug gun
yes a rifled shotgun barrel or smooth shotgun barrel
no slugs should on be shot thru a improved cylinder shotgun. if you shoot thru any other choke it can cause the barrel to split
Browning Choke Markings "* " = full "*- " = improved modified "** " = modified "**-" = improved cylinder "**$" = skeet "***" = cylinder
You can, but, it will not be a good thing.
Yes: A Remington 870 shotgun with a modified choke will shoot any commercial shotgun slug.
yes
The narrowing at the muzzle of the end of a shotgun barrel is called the "choke." Chokes are designed to control the spread of the shot as it exits the barrel, influencing accuracy and the effective range of the shotgun. Different choke designs, such as full, modified, and improved cylinder, allow for various patterns of shot dispersion depending on the intended use.
no! dont try it my friend! improved cylinder is an actual choke, meaning it constricts the barrel, if you fire a slug through one it will probably blow the end of your gun barrel off. you would need a cylinder aka factory cylinder choke, which is no constriction at all
