The Dinaric Alps lie east of the Adriatic Sea. It is a mountain range that spans from Italy to Albania along the eastern coast of the Adriatic Sea.

The highest peak (Musala) and second highest peak (Vichren) in Bulgaria lies within these mountains.
The Coast Mountains mountain range lie on Canada's west coast. The Coast Mountains also extend into the United States in Alaska.
