fishing to much can cause a lack of fish because people keep to many fish.

Sometimes fishing also affects our environment.

1. Some fishermen release their live bait (minnows) and thus spread trash fish into waters where they should not be.

2. Zebra Mussels and similar species, and undesirable water weeds are spread by boaters not cleaning their boats sufficiently. Some of these things are causing a lot of trouble.

3. Older motors often release unburned oil into the water.

4. when fisherman take boats out in both the sea and freshwater, they run the risk of killing turtles that rise to the surface as well as dolphins, manatees, and other aquatic species.

5. Also, Snakes can get caught up in fishing line and snakes are usually good for an ecosystem, they take out the weak of fish so that only the strong survive, creating a stronger breed of fish.
