The program also offers Silver and Gold levels for older participants, with the Gold Award typically being available to those aged 16 and above.
Yes- girls have been able to earn the Duke of Edinburgh's Award since 1969. The program is open to all youth from ages 14 to 24. It is not a Scouting or Guiding program, although Scouts and Guides can certainly work towards it.
