I prefer cotton fabrics during summer because they are breathable and allow air to circulate, keeping me cool in hot weather. Cotton is also moisture-wicking, helping to absorb sweat and keep my skin dry. Additionally, it's soft and comfortable against the skin, making it ideal for warm temperatures. Overall, cotton's natural properties make it a practical choice for summer clothing.

Linen is known to be one of the strongest natural fabrics. Fabric manufacturer like Linen Club prefer linen due to the fact that it’s long-lasting than cotton and has great strength. In comparison to a cotton shirt that might wear off after a few seasons, linen forever holds it’s original sheen and colour. It doesn’t even lose its shape if washed thoroughly as well. Plus it’s softer and pleasant on the skin.
"Should" and "prefer" don't go together very well. The one you prefer, you prefer for your own reasons and not because you think that you 'should'.
