PARALYSIS - a state marked by the inability to move (as in being paralyzed by fear)
Quadriplegia or 4-limb paralysis
Polio is a viral infection that has various long lasting symptoms on it's victims. It's most notable and infamous symptom is the severe deformation of limbs that have been made flaccidly paralyzed by the virus. This paralysis doesn't stiffen the limb but makes it unmovable by the owner. This means a paralyzed leg can still be bent but can't be bent by the owner's own will rendering the limb almost useless.
Infection or having to have a limb paralyzed.
Paralysis of a single limb is called monoplegia. It is a condition where one limb, such as an arm or a leg, experiences weakness or loss of function due to neurological damage or injury. Treatment options may vary depending on the underlying cause of the monoplegia.
Err well, you could lose a limb and be classes and paralyzed if it was blown off or you lost it to diabetes. Or, in tht other definition of the word, you could be paralyzed by a venomous spider bite for example.
Monoplegia is a type of paralysis that affects one limb, such as an arm or a leg. It can be caused by injury to the brain or spinal cord, leading to weakness or loss of movement in the affected limb. Treatment may involve physical therapy or other interventions to improve function.
Some obvious physical problems would be being paralyzed or missing an arm, leg, or other limb.
