Long enough pull yet the same pull throughout. Many weapons pull much harder towards the end of the stroke just before it breaks. This often causes the average shooter to tip the gun down with the additional force required. Also Para was one of the first to offer several models in a double stack. Having 13-15 rounds in .45 I don't feel compelled to carry a second magazine. Finally, I know that many gunsmiths use a Para frame to build customs guns from as they are reliable & engineered well.
