There are all kind of rules when it comes to approaching a wheel chair accessible door way. It's different if you're on the pull side which you'll need 18" clear on the latch side so the door clears the chair when opening. On the push side you need 12" clear on the latch side if the door has a closer on it. Anyway, the door opening needs to have a 32" clear opening so the stops on the 32" door make it not legal. Also the door itself will be into the opening unless it swings 180. Unless you find a 34" door (not likely), you'll need to go with a 36" door. That's the norm.
