Was Marilyn Runyon blind

No Marilyn Runyon was not blind. She was born with a condition called congenital cataracts which caused her eyesight to be very poor. She underwent two surgeries to correct the issue and while she could not see well enough to drive she was able to do many other activities on her own.

Marilyn was able to do activities such as:

• Play the piano
• Read and write
• Attend college classes
• Work as a teacher and librarian
• Get married and raise three children

Thanks to her determination and positive attitude Marilyn was able to lead a full and successful life despite her poor eyesight.
