Answer This answer is two fold. One thing always good to have in any home is a dictionary, and the answer to your question is debilitated means not able to work or do much because of sickness. An example of this might be. I have a debilitating disease and I'm not able to work, my feet or arms are too sore because of this disease. It has rendered me useless.
