It would depend on which of five different varieties that were coined that year and also the condition. Even in bad condition the coin will be worth somewhere between 1,300 & 1,500 depending on the spot price of gold at the time. The 1908-S (minted in San Francisco with an "S" appearing above the date) is the most valuable of the $20. coins dated that year. Depending on the condition of the coin it will start around $2500. and go up from there.
