"Dealing with people." is the answer to both "What is the best part of a physical therapist's job?" and "What is the most difficult part of a physical therapists job?"
Technically a physical therapist works with people to regain mobility, dexterity and reduce their pain. When it works, it's great! When it doesn't ...
Looking at the bad aspects:
Loss:
Some patients are nice, they co-operate and joke with you. You buy into them and their problems. Then they up and die. Since patients at any treatment centre usually have something wrong or are elderly, their chances of checking out are higher. You'll feel bad when this happens
Frustration:
Some patients will not co-operate. You work out programs and explain things but they unravel it through spite, ignorance, or just not caring. All your good work is for nothing
Failure:
Sometimes no matter what you do nothing works, worse than that, it gets worse. All your training is for nothing
Guilt:
Sometimes no matter what you do nothing works. All your trianing is for nothing ... then you see you've made an obvious mistake. They've suffered for years and it's all your fault! Some people don't get the results they want and play on your sense of "shouda done better"
Pain:
From time to time any professional that deals with people is going to get abused - emotionally and physically. Patients in pain react in anger. Some folks just are not nice.
Monetary Loss:
Some people don't get the results they want and sue
No, a physical therapist does not have a medical degree. They obtain a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, which is a professional degree that focuses specifically on physical therapy. However, physical therapists are healthcare professionals who work closely with medical teams to provide rehabilitative and therapeutic services to patients.

To become a physical therapist, you would complete a bachelor's degree program at a university. To be a physical therapy tech, you could find a community college or technical school that would provide certification. The university degree is better. I know of 3 types of PT jobs: A physical therapist (PT), a physical therapist assistant (PTA), and a physical therapy technician. To be a PT, you would need to graduate with a bachelor's from a university and then attend physical therapy school which ranges from 2-3 years. A PTA is an associates degree (I believe). Both require you to obtain a license to practice by passing a licensure exam. I am a physical therapy tech, and was trained on the job. There are a few full time physical therapy techs at the clinic I work at, but most of us are college students working part time to get experience before applying to physical therapy school.

In 2008, most full-time physical therapists worked a 40-hour week; some worked evenings and weekends to fit their patients' schedules. About 27 percent of physical therapists worked part-time.For the source and more detailed information concerning your request, click on the related links section (U.S. Department of Labor) indicated directly below this answer section.
In my opinion I belief FAR is the most difficult. If you are an auditor, or have an affinity for numbers then this section shouldn't be too difficult and you should then concentrate on the REG, which is the next most difficult.
If we were to ask NASA what is the most difficult part of getting a shuttle into space, I believe the answer would be, getting the appropriation through Congress.
