Pranav literally means strong but in a larger sense, is used to describe something mentally and physically powerful. In archaic times, Pranav was more of a title given to men that proved to be superior in strength. They would hold competitions forcing the participants to show their skills in various obstacles. The winner in this strength competition would be given the name Pranav.
