Gilbert Roland wore wrist support on his left hand due to a prior injury. The support helped stabilize his wrist and prevent further damage while he continued his acting career. This precaution was particularly important given the physical demands of his roles in film and television.
From what I understand it depends on the support your looking for. High on the wrist to help support the connection to your hand ie your hand hurt our feels week. Lower on the wrist with a thicker strip to help support the wrist joint. I'm not sure. I'll find out more and let you all know asap. thanks.

nope. easy way to remember: proximal=proximity, hence closer to the body, and distal=distance, hence further away from the body. so the wrist is distal to the shoulder, and the shoulder is proximal to the wrist. make sense?

Wrist support is crucial for handstands as it helps prevent injuries and improves stability. To ensure proper wrist support during handstand practice, it is important to warm up the wrists, use proper hand placement, engage the core muscles, and practice proper alignment and technique. Additionally, using wrist wraps or braces can provide extra support.
