It is indeed possible. Kalona was at first believed to be a warrior but then to be found out as a fallen angel living with the Cherokee tribe worshiped by them at first then he chose a girl of his own and got in bed with her and became obsessed. Every girl he raped became pregnant but every night he turned into what looked like a very large Raven so every time he raped a girl and they were pregnant they most of the time gave birth to dead "things" not fully human. Every once in a while a child of his would live and become a Raven Mocker this is because only it's limbs and eyes were human but the rest of the child was Raven. They were then named the Raven Mockers the spirits of them still live on but they live as spirits because they lost their physical connection they live on the torture or annoying the living and can only hurt badly the ones who are close to death as in the Elderly who are close to death. So don't always trust that you hear a Raven you just might be hearing a Raven Mocker if you have had deaths in your family...multiple deaths in a short time then they might be drawn there to feed on the negative energy. So even though Kalona was just a Cherokee legend some legends are indeed true so maybe another version of Kalona will come someday... Hope this helps..
