Children do not necessarily grow faster during the summer; growth rates are generally consistent throughout the year. However, increased physical activity and exposure to sunlight during the summer months can contribute to overall health and well-being, which may support growth. Additionally, factors like nutrition and sleep play a crucial role in a child's growth regardless of the season. Overall, growth patterns are influenced more by genetics and individual health than by seasonal changes.

I can't tell you why they grow faster but I found on a site that was talking about nails said that the nails grow faster during the summer. Funny you should ask cuz I was wondering the same things. I grow beautiful nails in the summer but the rest of the year FORGET IT! Wish I could figure out what the cause is unless is the extra vitamin D we get from the sun since we are out in the sun more during the summer than any other season. Who knows. Hope this helps!
