Dads and Moms have babies between them. The Mom does 99% of the work, but they both claim the credit.

The dad's sperm contributes half of the genetic content in a baby. The mother's egg contributes the other half. When sperm meets egg, a baby is produced. After spending 40 weeks in the womb, the baby is born.

So basically, the father contributes his DNA, but the mother actually carries the child inside of her and gives birth to the baby.

Babies may cry more with their moms than with their dads because they often have a stronger bond with their mothers due to spending more time with them and relying on them for comfort and care.
