Philosophically speaking, some would want to know your name and some wouldn't. Personally, I don't know if I would want to know your name because I don't know anything about you. If you are an adult who has similar interests to mine or a young person who has an interest in WikiAnswers, I might want to know your name. If you are a criminal who wants to harm me or steal my things, I woudn't want to know you, so I would not need to know your name, except maybe to avoid you. If you are a millionaire who wants to give me lots of money, I definitely want to know your name. If you're a poor person who needs some help and I could give it to you, I wouldn't necessarily want to know your name, but I would definitely like to meet you so I could give you the help that you need (only if you are sincere and really do need the help, of course). So, you see, wanting to know your name depends on a lot of variables. My name is Alexa!
