Children of mixed-race parents can identify with multiple races, reflecting the diverse backgrounds of their parents. Their racial identity may depend on various factors, including cultural influences, personal experiences, and societal perceptions. Ultimately, the race of a child from mixed-race parents can be complex and unique, often encompassing a blend of both parental heritages.
A human that is of mixed race means the parents of the individual come from two different ethnic races or a mixture of races. A mixed race individual may also be referred to as bi-racial (coming from two races) or multi-racial (coming from more than two races).

When you say ''mixed race'' that doesn't specify what exactly you're mixed with.Mixed means you're mixed with more than two nationalities. Biracial means you're half one race, half another. To answer your question, if you're mixed with Black then that means you're still Black, just not full Black.

Here is the way it works. People from two different races have a child. The child will be a mix of those two races. If that child has a baby with someone from either of those races then those children will share the genes of both parents but the children will have only 25% of the genes of one of the parents. If they have four kids it is likely that 3 will show signs of being mixed and one will not. That one will appear to be of one race. If any of those children has children then of four children one will show signs of being mixed race and three will not. The three will appear to be of one racial background. However they do carry the genes of both races. This means that somewhere down the line if they mate with another person who carries mixed racial heritage then there is a chance of the traits surfacing again.
