What starts a baby's heart?
DC The heart forms after about 22 days(not complete but starts to receive blood). Because it is linked to the mothers blood supply its starts to pulse with the mother's heartbeat. Meanwhile heart tissue/muscle is still forming while the babies heart is still pulsing from the mothers heartbeat. At some stage the nerves from the babies heart get connected to his own brain and start to beat on its own as it receives the signal from his brain.
