One view: A woman is normally the most fertile any where from a day to a week after her period
Another view: Sorry but the above answer is incorrect. A woman with a 28 day cycle would usually ovulate around day 12-14 of her cycle. If I recall correctly, sperm can live for 7 days in the womb/fallopian tubes. Given that fertilisation takes place when the egg meets the sperm, it stands to reason that a woman is most fertile around the time that she ovulates, ie usually in the middle of a 28 day cycle. That is not to say that it is "safe" to have unprotected sex outside of this timeframe as every woman's cycle is different, some may ovulate earlier, others later.
During "that time" of the month thats when she is most fertile

You mean intercourse. I learned about this in my religion class. There are certain times where a woman is most fertile. Ovulation happens usually on the 14th of a women's menstruation cycle. Woman will be most fertile on this day. Generally a women's most fertile period is a few days before and after ovulation. Keep in mind that each women is different though. In order to tell when a women will ovulate, an ovulation test should be done.
