What advice would you give to parents of children entering pre school?

Don't push the child into making new friends; going into storytime circle ectera. Let the child be introduced to his or her new surroundings and be sure to tell the caretaker not to push the child; children are always intimidated by pushy people. Take pictures of the preschool, as a precaution and paste them on the refriderator. Every time you pass by it, say to the child "that's miss__________ she's going to be your new teacher/caretaker

Should you force toddler to viset its estranged father?

No. not until it is a convenient time in the child's life . An older child one would push more because they would understand but a toddler can find it quite traumatic itf they do not know the parent. On the other hand are you forced to follow the court order if there is one because it's your responsibility it is followed or you will get into serious legal trouble with the court. I think you should contact and ask a child psycologist to find out exactly how a child your childs age would percieve the whole thing. It is also very possible that the child is very mommy-oriented when you are around and therefore it seems more traumatic then it really is. It's like a child who screams when going to daycare and you are heartbroken after leaving him but as soon as you have left he is a little sunshine and seems to toally have forgotten about you. Children are different with different people and they need to be alone to really get to know each other. Clearly he is not estranged anymore if he wants his child to visit him. This early your child will noit even remember that he ever left.
