He:I printed the poem out that I missed as I went to sleep on you... the more I read it the better I like it.... but I cannot find it in any database of poems. I really like the way the last 2 lines change the rhythm... just to emphasize the point... very clever.
She: Leaving taking? I think so too,like she is making a list,a pros and cons list of the pieces of her life, some good and some bad, of course,figuratively checking them off and then reiterating it again at the end. I often compare it to the tone of Dylan Thomas's Do not go gentle into that good night. As a matter of fact, the rhyme scheme(ababcdcdefefgg) reminds me of a mini villanelle. Both poems having that wanting more, not ready for it(life) to be finished yet quality.And quite cross about it.
I think it comes from a young adult novel that I read about girls at a school who were used as mediums to write stories and poems from authors that had died. I can't remember the name.
