Any tips on how to win national American miss?

National American Miss is a great pageant although it could be preety expensive! I have been compeeting in this pageant for two years and on my third year( last year) I won! So heres some advice: Be confident in yourself and dont compare yourself to any of the other girls. In order to win you need to prepere. Remember the three p's. Preparation= Perfect Performance! To win this pageant you will need to practice walking in your dress for formal wear. Dont be too stiff and walk with your head pareler to the grownd. Smile and look at every one of the judges. For the interview you will need to prepare the most. Becouse I will tell you that the pageant is won in the interview although it is the hardest part. Ask your family members to ask you questions that will be asked such as: 1. What has been the most significant accomplishment in your life? Why? 2. At what point does a girl become a woman? 3. What do you think about the growing number of foreign investments in the United States? 4. Do you consider yourself to be a giver or a taker? Why? 5. Who do you feel is the most popular person in the world (the United States, your state, your community, etc.)? Why? 6. What would you like to see done to improve the public's understanding of the importance of organ donation? Why? 7. How can we better promote volunteerism in America? 8. What do you want to do in life? 9. What would you say is the biggest problem facing our educational system today? Why? 10. What are the best qualities a parent could share with their children? Why? 11. If you showed me around your state (county, city, community, etc.), where would you take me? Why? 12. Tell me about a recent goal you accomplished. 13. What do you expect to gain by participating in pageants? Why? 14. Tell me about recreational activities in your state (community). 15. Tell me about cultural activities in your state (community). DO NOT LIE ON YOUR RESUME AND WHEN THE JUDGES ASK YOU A QUESTION, DO NOT LIE ABOUT YOU OPINION SO YOU COULD SAY THE ANSWER THAT YOU THINK THEY LIKE THE BEST. Trust me they will find out!Heres another tip: the judges are looking for a girl who is confident, has poise, has good comunication skills and a nice walk. It is important to remember that the judges are regular people who have problems, go to the bathroom, and have the flu just like we do. There is no need to be nervious.
