There are two different types of IMAX Theatres, IMAX domed theatres and IMAX flat-screened theatres. IMAX domed theatres have the image on a domed shaped screen in a generally circular room so that the image is projected in front, above, and to the left and right of you.
IMAX flat screened theatres are like a larger version of a standard movie screen. IMAX flat screens have the capability to show 3D movies, unlike domes screened theatres.
in one word- no. the sydney imax theatre has the biggest screen, however there are far bigger theatres in the world. im guessing that radio city, in new york is the biggest indoor theatre, however there are numerous outdoor theatres that are bigger. hope this helps
There are no such thing as "main" theaters. They are all the same.
Theatres all over the world.
Shakespeare did not "have" any theatres. He was not the sole owner of any theatres. He did own a share in a couple, but just because you own a share in Apple Computers does not mean you own the company. Of course he acted in a great many theatres, most of which he did not have any interest in at all.
The original Globe Theatre had no electricity laid on. All the lighting was natural sunlight. All modern theatres have provision for a huge number of electric lights. Also, there were no bathrooms for the audience at the original Globe. Thankfully that has been changed in all modern theatres.
It should already be in Imax Theatres.
The Smithsonian boasts 3 IMAX theatres. They have three of them located throughout the Smithsonian. They are close to 7 stories tall. They are known as the Smithsonian Theatres.

IMAX is better than a regular movie theatre because of the size of the screen. The IMAX screen usually spans from wall to wall, unlike traditional screens that are mounted in the center of the room. The light used to project an IMAX film is a super bright 15,000 watt Xenon Bulb, which allows for a better, stronger, clearer picture with a higher rate of contrast. IMAX has special Sound Engenieers or Audio Engineers who specify in creating speakers with a more powerful output in addition to crystal quality sound. In addition, IMAX theatres are in general, of a much better quality, because of the standards that they have to abide by, set forth by IMAX corporation. IMAX tells the theatres which movies to play, how to show them, etc.
IMAX is widescreen and a clearer digital picture but are much more expensive and high tech to shoot. The cameras way like 6 times that of a normal camera. IMAX done right is seen in a 360 wrap around screen so you feel like you are in the middle of the action yourself. IMAX pictures are only seen in IMAX capable theatres and not all are wrap around screens. Video and sound quality is at it's highest level or awesomeness with IMAX. The picture seems so much more clearer and precise. Normal cameras tend to be a little grainier.
