Virtually all televisions today have a removable base. Most bases use a non-standard mounting system so you will need to read the manual to confirm the removal method.
Similarly, virtually all have a "VESA" standard mount on the rear of the case to allow a wall mount to be fitted. There are several different sizes of VESA mount so it is important that you read the manual to find out which size is needed. The VESA standard mounting system uses 4 screws in a square shape so it is easy to recognize in the rear of the television.
