William Shakespeare's plays were so well done that Queen Elizabeth asked him to have them performed in her castle. It is not said that Shakespeare's plays were performed in a different public theatre.

What year did William Shakespeare buy the Globe Theatre?

William Shakespeare did not buy the Globe Theatre from James Burbage or anyone else. He was never the sole owner of the Globe. He was never even a majority shareholder. He never held more than one-eighth, when the Burbage brothers owned half between them. Anyone who tells you that he purchased the Globe Theatre from James Burbage in 1599 is demonstrably wrong. The Globe was only built in 1599, by Peter Street for Richard and Cuthbert Burbage, who never sold their controlling interest in it.

Which famous lord did shakespeare name his acting group after?

Shakespeare did not name the acting group he belonged to. Elizabethan theatre groups did not name themselves; they were required by law to have a noble or royal patron and the theatre group took its name from that person. If the patron changed his title, the name of the company changed; if the patron was replaced by someone else (as happened with the company Shakespeare belonged to) then the name of the company changed. Even if the theatre company has some say in what they were called, and they didn't, Shakespeare was not the leader of the company. The brothers Richard and Cuthbert Burbage were the leaders. The patrons of the company were Henry Carey, the Lord Chamberlain and King James I.

Why did William Shakespeare use the Globe theatre?

to inspire other play writers to follow in his path The Lord Chamberlain's Men built the Globe because their former landlord had tried to take the The Theatre, their former venue, from them; so, they dismantled it, moved it, and rebuilt it under a new name.
