We have no evidence at all about Shakespeare's school life. The school records have been utterly destroyed. Nobody at the time thought it was important to record anything about John Shakespeare's son. We only guess that he went to the King's New School in Stratford because he appears to have had a grammar school education, and that was the only grammar school in Stratford.
How in the world could we possibly know such a thing? We don't even have the records which would prove what school he went to, or whether he actually finished.
One could argue that Robert Greene's screed lampooning Shakespeare was a form of bullying.
Probably not. He never seems to have quarrelled with anyone. In this way he is quite different from his contemporary and friend Ben Jonson. Jonson really was rude.
