The only unfinished Shakespeare play may be Sir Thomas More, a play thought to be a collaboration between a number of different playwrights including Shakespeare. But try as they might they could not come up with a version which would pass the censors and the play was abandoned.

However, Shakespeare retired from playwriting three years before his death so he had no current projects going at the time he died.
