Yes, Engelbert Humperdinck did sing "Anniversary Waltz." The song is a romantic piece that reflects on love and memories, fitting well with his signature style. Humperdinck's rendition adds a heartfelt touch to this classic tune, showcasing his smooth vocals.
Michael Crawford did not sing in the encore presentation of the 25th anniversary of Phantom of the Opera because his voice had aged and he no longer felt comfortable performing the demanding role of the Phantom. Additionally, the high notes and vocal range required for the role may have been challenging for him at that point in his career. Crawford likely made the decision to prioritize the quality of the performance over his own personal desire to sing in the encore presentation.
I think it's "Swing Swing Swing". Actually it is "Sing, Sing, Sing" by Benny Goodman
Yes. My parents own an old LP record with music from the Nutcracker Suite. One of my favorite pieces on the record was the Waltz of the Flowers. A choir was singing words to the music. I loved trying to sing along with it but parts of it were out of my voice range because the notes were so high. The only words I remember off the top of my head are something like "Hark to the woodland call; come to the waltz of the flowers..." Also, toward the last of the piece were the words "Dance flowers dance; dance while the music makes romance..." As a matter of fact, I was trying to find something about those words when I ran across the link which led me to this question. After some creative searching I found a reference to the recording my parents must have had. http://www.billiesilvey.com/classical.html The recording is a choral version of the Nutcracker Suite by Fred Waring and The Pennsylvanians.

No, it was the winter time, It was cold and snowed, but in the hall, as we danced, and I said to you in love: The snow, snow, snow, snow waltz we dance: You with me, I with you! When snow, snow, snow, snow waltz arm in arm is you and me is also in the winter so toasty warm! And when the roses bloom red, and the meadows are so green, and the moon sees our happiness, I should think many times and fond memories the snow in January, when the world was enchanted at the first dance with you and then you sing as he did with me: The snow, snow, snow, snow waltz we dance: You with me, I with you!
