Since this is an opinion question, I'll answer with my opinion. I say yes, all contestants are winners in beauty pageants because they have had opportunities to learn some very important facts in life such as posture, confidence, personality, how to deal with losses, how to deal with the competitiveness of life in general as they grow older, this list can go on and on. And each and every thing they learn can and will be helpful to them at some time during their lives. Some pageants, the contestants are winners simply because they had to win their way from pageant to pageant to get there as in the Miss America Pageant. They've had to win at least county and state competitions to get there. And, one could also consider herself a winner because they met the qualifications to enter into the pageant.
The contestants for the 1974 Miss Florida Pageant included representatives from various counties across the state. Notable participants included Miss Miami, Miss Orlando, and Miss Jacksonville, among others. The pageant showcased talent, beauty, and poise, contributing to the selection of the state representative for the Miss America Pageant. Specific names of all contestants may not be widely documented, as individual pageants often focus on the winners and finalists.
Yes! All contestants should be accepted in every state preliminaries to the Miss Teen USA pageant. Important notes: *Applicants should live in the state they wish to represent and have all the requirements the state pageant needs.
This depends on the pageant and the divisions in the pageant. These vary from pageant to pageant. Here is a list of some of the things you are judged on: poise, stature, confidence, personality, talent, intelligence, and over-all appearance. Notice I did not mention beauty, as beauty contestants are not judged on their facial beauty.
well,i think that I'm deserving to choose one of the final contestants and i give all my efforts to choose one of the final contestants.
The "Master of Ceremonies" @ pageants announce the contestants and tell about them while they are on stage. They also announce all the winners and the additional awards.

Sometimes for joining or entering a pageant, you get only the right to be a contestant. Some pageants give all contestants a ribbon or small trophy for entering. Each beauty pageant has its own owner. The owner determines the type of and size of the beauty pageant. The owner also decides what the winnings are, which depends on the size of the pageant and the number of contestants. Most pageants have an entry fee; this determines how much money is available to finance the winnings. Winnings can include large or small amounts of cash, scholarships, various sizes of trophies, medals and ribbons. Some include gift certificates from businesses and any other item a business wishes to donate.
i was in that pageant and yes it cost a lot i believe it was around 1000 dollars and that was not even part of the dress, makeup, hair money at all
In the data 45, 48, 50, and 52 - there is no mode. * * * * * Although, in statistical terms, all four values are modes. It is like a race with 4 contestants. If all four breast the tape at exactly the same time would you say there are no winners or that all four are winners? Statistical rules governing the definition of modes go for all four being winners.
My experience is that Miss America pageants tend to have their own style and are looking for fresh faces and genuine community-minded women. They do not tend favor traditional glitz contestants. Glitz contestants tend to come off as "pageant pattys". However, all the glitz characteristics tend to go well at MAO, attention to detail, preparedness, nice clothing. If you are used to glitz, consider taking some time off before you compete. If you are natural you will fit in. Most important: Be yourself!
it is usually beauty.but it all depends on the pageant you are at.
Joining a pageant is like playing a game, it's either you will win or lose. But as for me, I will accept the judgment whatever it is with all my heart because I believe, if I did my best, and I deserve to win, i will win.. if not, then I won't. I must accept the truth.
A miss universe contestants don't necessarlly need to be a model to win. But, contestants do however, have to be good looking though.
