Both Lady Capulet and the Nurse try to cool Capulet down a little, (Lady C: "what, are you mad?" and "You are too hot" Nurse: "You are to blame, my lord, to rate her so"), but neither of them try to persuade him that it is wrong to force her to marry Paris. Lady Capulet says, in a Pontius Pilate vein, "I have done with thee", and the Nurse, who knows Juliet is already married and would be committing a grievous sin to commit bigamy, still encourages her to marry Paris.

Juliet's Parents wanted her to marry Paris not Romeo. Her parents wanted her to marry Paris because Paris and his parents both aren't against Juliet's culture and Romeo was with the other culture. I believe it was there culture but not 100% sure.
