Do the classic sprayer. Put a rubber band around the sink sprayer and let your parents wash the dishes. Stand near by to watch their reaction. But beware of cleaning up the extra water that didn't hit them!

One time on April Fool's Day, I came home and found everything in my closet was gone and it was stuffed full of crumpled newspaper! I got that straightened out ok.

Later, when I was getting ready for bed, my bureau drawers had all been put in upside down -- with the things still in them! (still not sure how that was managed!) I fixed that up, and finally getting into bed -- it was short-sheeted so I could get only half way in. Had to remake my bed, which was kind of annoying by that time, and I was a little tired of April Fool's day.

I wanted to try it this year but I didn't get around to it.

Take a balloon and blow it up with air. Put it behind a friend or a family member's car tire where they can't see it. Then, when they're backing up they run over the balloon and pop it and they think their tire blew up. Just make sure you have enough weight to keep the balloon on the ground before getting blown.

I did a good one on my dad this morning, he went mental. I said "Oh by the way dad, I got my Maths Mock GCSE back yesterday, I got an F..." He was there screaming "YOU DID WHAT? HOW COULD YOU GET AN F?" When I reminded him it was April Fools Day he sighed in relief and started going "God you had me going then" Hope this gave you an idea for next year ;)
