Gilbert O'Sullivan was the stage name of a singer/song wrter who was known for his 1970s era hits "Alone Again (Naturally)," "Claire, Get Down" . The name was a pun on Gilbert & Sullivan, the creaters of several popular 19th century light operas, including "The Mikado" and "HMS Pinafore."
