I suggest going on to www.poetry.com
Submitting your poem could give you the chance to have it published in a book, and win money through poetry contests but be aware the rules are strict.
A few years ago I sent in a poem over the net to poetry.com and got a letter in the mailbox a month later.
My poem was very good and the company had my poem published in a poems book in the u.s.a.
It's a very good opportunity to get your name out there.
___ Actually, poetry.com and most of the other sites like that are just places that rip poor aspiring poets off. No matter how bad the poem is, they send EVERYONE a letter, and invite everyone to buy the book or pay for going to their own awards banquet. ... they are just in it for the money. Please don't be decieved by sites like that. If you really want to be publishd, submit your poetry to a reputable magazine... not online. There are too many really cruddy sites out there like poetry.com and famouspoets.com that rip people off without even considering poetry quality. I have seen many of my students fall for it, and it is not the way to go.
