Connect both hard-drives to the mainboard and power, boot the Windows 7 one and drag-drop your files. If your mainboard doesn't support the harddrive you can use a USB HUB or dock.

Whether or not the hard drive has Windows installed on it is irrelevant to the actual process of replacing the drive. if you want to preserve the current Windows installation, you'll need to use hard drive imaging software to copy the data from the old drive. Otherwise, you can simply replace the drive and reinstall Windows as you would normally.

How do you retrieve lost data on xbox 360?

It depends if u got a new hard-drive or if you are on a different account. Try going onto a different account and maybe that will work. But if you got a new hard drive, put your old one in and transfer the memory onto a flashdrive and then put in the new hard-drive in and transfer the data from the flash drive to it.
