They die in all sorts of ways, Hamlet's father had poison poured in his ear, Julius Caesar and Duncan were stabbed to death, Romeo commits suicide by drinking poison, Macbeth is beheaded by Macduff, Ophelia drowns, King Lear collapses and dies of grief and hardship etc.
Here are some more: Aaron is buried alive, Clarence in drowned in a vat of wine, Othello, Juliet, Antony and Brutus stab themselves, Regan is poisoned, Cleopatra allows herself to be bitten by a poisonous snake, Falstaff dies in bed, apparently from natural causes, and so does Henry IV. Hotspur, like Macbeth, dies in battle. Richard II is murdered in prison. Hector is ambushed by a gang of thugs, the Myrmidons, and Banquo dies in a similar way.
