The really really god tap dancers start when they are really little. As they get older they learn more steps and progress-while getting faster. When you get old it comes easier. I can't say it isn't easy but its not terribley hard. I should know I've been danceing since i was 3!

Tap your feet means moving your feet in a beat. Tap dancing is used with Tap shoes and that's probably where tap your feet comes from.

Tap dance is where you are wearing 'tap shoes' which have got two metal slabs, one on the heel, and one on the toe. You move your feet to the beat, and your feet tap. There are some very difficult moves in tap.
