Be straight forward! Girl's love it when guys have enough courage to go and ask them out to the dance. Don't get your friends to do it!! Its better if you do, even if its scary :). Just go for it!

When my date the school dance I was absolutely shocked! I had liked him for a year! And then he asked me, it was such a surprise! Add something real sweet to when you ask her, it will warm the girl's heart and girl's LOVE sweet stuff :P.

Even simple things like giving her a flower when you ask her will make her "awww".

Hope I helped, good luck :)
First ask her if she is going then say "do you want to go with me ?"

Well, it depends on whether or not your friendsw/ her. If you aren't, then you might want to talk to her or crack a joke or something like that, first, and then ask her. And if you are friends w/ her, sometimes it's just bettertoflatout ask, 'will you dance w/ me?'. Good luck if you ever need it! -dancedance94

I'm not sure what others would do, but I'd go up to them and say, "Hey. Wanna go to the dance with me"

Just be yourself make sure he/she doesn't already have a date and then try not to look scared or nervous and just go ahead, do it. If they say no, it's not your fault it's theirs. :)

If you are really shy, you could have a friend do it. I think if you just go over to him yourself though, he would probably say yes.

To "cut in" means to ask to dance with someone who already has a partner instead of waiting for the next dance. I personally consider it rude behavior.
