By RGB, we can assume that this is a VGA port that carries RGB analog signals.
HDMI is a fully digital interface so to use this input, a VGA to HDMI converter is required. They are available on line and at some computer and electronics stores and should cost in the region of $30 - $50.
HDMI cables are used as digital video and data links between video sources and televisions. HDMI is compatible with DVI interfaces so if the laptop has a DVI output, a DVI to HDMI cable can be used. If the laptop does not have HDMI or DVI, then there is no way to connect the VGA output to an HDMI input. There are several USB based video displays that can be purchased to connect to the laptop. The display can be used as a copy of the internal screen or it can extend the desktop across both screens. Select a display port that has either DVI or HDMI outputs.
You cannot connect a HDMI to a VGA video output on a computer. VGA is an analog signal and the DVI adapter connects it to the analog pins on the DVI cable (a DVI-I cable has both analog and digital pins). A HDMI to DVI cable connects to the cable's digital pins, therefore, no connection is being made. The easiest way to do this is to upgrade your computer's video card to one with a HDMI output. These can be purchased for less than $50.00, and will allow you to connect your computer to your TV with one cable and no adapters.
Get yourself a video card that has a TV out (or video out) capability. Then just connect it to your TV set. Don't want to do that? Then burn the movie to DVD and use your DVD player.
Most laptops are now equipped with a DisplayPort interface (or similar) which, with the correct adapter, may be connected to televisions with an HDMI or DVI interface. Older laptops may have an S-Video connection (analogue audio/video), or simply a DVI port. If your television has an S-Video port, you may use this for standard definition audio/video. Alternatively, using an adapter, the DVI port may be connected via the HDMI interface on a newer television. When using a DVI connection, you must provide an alternative connection for audio, as unlike HDMI, DVI does not carry audio. This can be problematic when using a DVI-to-HDMI adapter, as most consumer televisions provide no way to map separate audio and video sources to the same channels, or for mixing analogue and digital sources. Some televisions also include VGA connections, though they do not tend to provide high-definition output (despite VGA having more than adequate bandwidth) as they expect XGA standard input (1024x768). If a VGA interface is available on your television, there will normally be an audio jack interface for audio too. DVI-I ports on computer equipment provide piggy-backed analogue connectivity (unlike digital-only DVI-D interfaces) via a DVI-to-VGA adapter. To determine which type of interface is provided should be as simple as looking at the port. If the port includes a cross-shaped 'hole' (i.e- if it looks like [+::::::] ), it is usually DVI-I, though some cheaper graphics cards manufacturers have been known to use the DVI-I port on a DVI-D interface, possibly in order to trick consumers into buying an inferior product. If it is more like a hyphen ( [ - ::::::] ), it is definitely DVI-D and can only be connected to a digital interface (such as DVI or HDMI).
Yes. But you have to have a video card ,in your computer, with a video in option. Yes. You could buy a video card with a video input for about $50 - $100. You could then use Nero software or some other Media Center type of software to view the videos. Now if you have an Xbox 360 and bought the VGA adapter for $39.99, and can view everything in HD directly through your monitor.
No, you must buy an NVIDIA GeForce 8400gs card.

If you have a graphics card that supports HDMI you can of course connect the PS3 to that card. Will it work at all? most likely not. why not
No.Prince of Persia(2008) will run and assassins creed 2 on medium settings.
Well this card supported physx version 8 till version 9 came out! So no! do not buy this card because it sucks, it overheats and it's laggy, even for a low-graphic game like Combat Arms
Via an DVI to HDMI adapter cable.
Yes nvidia cards are support for NFS Hot Purist but some nvidia card are not supported minimum nvidia card are 7600gs..
Yes, it can.
Nvidia make some of the best graphics cards around. The Nvidia 550 ti is a very good card from their range.
No.
nVidia by far. But it depends. If your looking for game play then get your self a nVidia card.
the 8400 is the better card
