We heard a voice that was moaning,
And it turned out to be Leonard's.
He kept on moaning and groaning,
With a pain down deep in his innards.
"How can we try to make it better?
Can Leonard's pain be relieved"?
We received from the doctor a very long letter,
It was even worse than we had believed.
She told us what was causing the pain,
She'd taken a look at his innard,
The Xray showed that there was a chain,
Swallowed deep in the belly of Leonard.
But that wasn't the end of Leonard's story,
In pain he continued to waller,
(This part actually gets a bit gory),
At the end of the chain was a collar.
How did it get there, how could it be?
"I was hungry," he said, "but a bit in a fog,
So I called in an order to deliver to me
A bun, some mustard, and a juicy hot dog".
But just as Leonard was starting to eat,
He felt a sharp nip that caused him to holler,
The "hot dog" got loose and jumped on his feet,
As Leonard gulped and swallowed the collar.
The moral is good so make it your own,
If you're in the fog when you feel like a hog,
Be very careful in dialing the phone,
And call the number for the right kind of dog.
