Removing in-ceiling speakers must take into account the type of ceiling in which they are installed. Typically the panel that the speaker is set in can be lowered and the speaker can be lifted out for removal.
The best place to mount bose home theater speakers is in the wall. They can be mounted in the ceiling, but they have been designed specifically for mounting on walls.

The wiring may be disconnected or not connected properly. Make sure you are connecting them to the left and right surround speaker jacks if you want to watch a 5.1 movie. Connecting them to the rear surround if the system is 7.1 will only work if the movie itself is mixed in 7.1 surround, or the system is set up to send a 5.1 mix to both the surround and back speakers.
It depends on the speakers. Bose computer speakers are not designed to connect directly to speaker inputs on your receiver, as they have their own amplifier. All Bose home stereo speakers can be connected.

How do you remove door speakers on a 1999 chevy tahoe
Remove the mesh grille from the speakers, they just pop out. The screws holding the speakers in will then be exposed. Remove these screws and take speakers out.
Remove the covers from your 1988 Mercedes-Benz 300 speakers. Remove the speaker retaining screws. Remove the wiring harness from the back of the speakers.
You will need to remove the covers from your 1996 Integra rear speakers. Remove the speaker retaining screws. Remove the wiring harness from the back of the speakers.
The official method of doing so is by first removing the back seat, then the trim which goes from the bottom of the doorwells to the ceiling, then you are supposed to remove the plastic panels between where the trim was and the rear windshield. Now you would remove the panel covering the speakers, from here it's easy, just unscrew the speakers. I managed to simply remove the plastic panels between the rear windshield and door, and removing the panel over the speakers with only some difficulty. I have also heard that people have had luck by simply unscrewing the speakers from the trunk with a pliers or something of the like.
Remove the covers from your 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche speakers. Remove the speaker retaining screws. Remove the wiring harness from the back of the speakers. Reverse the process to install the new speakers.
Remove the dash pad, then remove the speakers from the dash frame. For the rear speakers, open the trunk and remove the brackets, that hold the speakers in place. not for the back speakers ..you have to remove the lower rear seat then remove the seat belts then the rear seat back then remove the header panels in the back seat then remove the deck cover ..the rear speakers are bolted in from the top down under the rear deck cover....and the front speakers i believe are mounted in the door panels in the front doors ..you have to remove the door panels to remove them .some do have them in the dash also if they are there u do as the person stated before me.
Remove the door panels and unscrew the grills, then unscrew the speakers
