Export your Google Chrome bookmarks and import them into Opera. This is done by clicking on the wrench menu, opening the Bookmark Manager, then Tools, then Export Bookmarks. Choose any folder you can remember, and click OK. Open Opera, press Control+Shift+B on your keyboard, press the file button (in Opera), and choose Import Bookmarks.
Opera stores its bookmarks in the Opera preferences folder. However, an easier way to access Opera's bookmarks externally would be to export them, by pressing Control+Shift+B or Command+Shift+B, clicking File, and choosing Export as HTML. Choose the destination folder and that's it!
Open your Panels sidebar, click on the Bookmarks icon, find the bookmark you want deleted and either right click it and choose delete, or drag it to the trash (located in the same place as your bookmarks).
Opera has a Bookmarks "button" It is three to the right of the File button. The second item down says "Manage Bookmarks." Click on it. Alternatively, click Ctrl+Shift+B You should now get a tab opened called Bookmarks. On the left, there is a list of folders with favorites in them. Pick the one that says "Links" Find the Website you want deleted, RIGHT click on it, and click on delete. Hope this helps, message board me if you have further questions, or if something wasn't clear.

In Firefox, open Manage/Organize Bookmarks. Click Import and back up, then export as HTML. In Opera, go to Import/Export and import bookmarks. Then, double click the HTML file. Done! Bookmarks are private user data. Firefox does not look into it. If you want to know if any of your saved bookmark links is broken/down you can use Bookmarks Checker add on in FF and similar options in google chrome, safari, opera, etc.
Press the star in the left side in the search bar And Will Say, Bookmark added! You can remove it on your bookmarks later.
Bookmarks are in a browser's history or data. You need to delete the data of the browser to remove them. Logging out of Gmail will not affect them.

This is probably because you quit Opera improperly. What you have to do is open the task manager (Ctrl+Alt+Delete), find Opera's process and quit it from there. If this does not work, try rebooting your computer. If this does not work, find your Bookmarks folder on your computer. Put it somewhere safe and uninstall Opera. Reinstall Opera, and it should work.
